I would never guess I would feel this much emotional while I'm watching Zaion's Kuaidul story.

Funny how this was Yuuhi and Zaion's duel but it felt like a tribute what made Neil and Yuga work so well and the future they represent if they keep moving forward

AN ACTUALLY WELL PLAYED DUEL that is not a season final ? Rare for Rush yugioh, i am impressed. And Yuuhi, Yuuhi is good. It sadly came with the expense of Yuamu being wasted and completely overshadowed by him but Yuuhi got developed really well and turned into a compelling character. I thought that after many lose Yuuhi would just become another clown like Yuga but NO. Yuhi is so much better than Yuga since he actually improved his dueling skills by a lot as well while also getting developed as a character.

I still wish Yuamu was not wasted and i am still annoyed that Manabu who was a good character as well until his duel with Zwijo got completely clowned on and ruined for no reason and there are many other problems BUT i will give credit where its due. They made the A LOT of time, arc and development they spent on Yuuhi worth it

At this point, i think the anime staff hates the Sogetsu characters.
the anime staff seems to always love the dragons users since when Yuga finally beat Luke, the loss wasnt clearly shown.
there are some things that are handled better in Go Rush and some things that were handled better in SEVENS.
at least Kuaidul is handled better than Goha Yuga and doesnt become a good guy after one loss.

I agree that the staff seems to have a problem with the Sougetsu characters. But i am not sure about dragon users because i think it was just Luke. Yuamu is a dragon user and yet she is completely overshadowed by Yuuhi in every possible way.

I agree that Kuaidul is better handled than Goha Yuga thus far. I am still not convinced that they will be able to stick the landing with his character and villainy but he is better than Goha Yuga nonetheless even if that is not that hard of a hurdle to pass

Aside from Atem, Yugi who original ace before DSOD was a dragon(Gandora the Dragon of Destruction)and Yuya, all Yu-Gi-Oh protagonists whose ace isnt a dragon have more losses than the protagonists whose ace is a dragon(Jaden, Yuma and Yuga have more losses than Yusei and Yusaku).
Kite/Kaito whose ace is a dragon never lost to the protagonist(to Yuma in Zexal and Yuya in Arc-V).
Luke only lost to himself and Yuga after 4 rush duels.
Goha Yuga has more wins and themes than Kuaidul, but after just one loss he became a good guy, yeah, you're right its not hard to be a better villain than him, but at least Kuaidul didnt become a good guy after one loss.
most SEVENS villains were handled better than Go Rush villains aside from Zwijo who stayed a villain for 52 episodes.
Neil and Asana were handled better than Rovian and The☆Lugh and Phaser is just like Goha Yuga only that he won against Yuamu, one of the main characters and Goha Yuga won only against recurring characters .
also, Yuhi's ace is Jointech Rex who is a dinosaur which is close to a dragon.

Living in a fake dream IS comforting indeed, so I can understand Zaion. But Yuuhi is right, it is not real and you are just lying to yourself. If he actually makes his dream come true in reality, then he can actually live the dream. I loved this episode's premise, even if the duel sucked.

Wow lot's of character development for Zion, doesn't progress the plot much seeming though.

Similar to SEVENS' last arc, just that in SEVENS, they restored memories and in Go Rush, they restore personalities.
